Perhaps the Stardust is my favorite sign after all. Its allure never faded for me, and I found endless inspiration in discovering new ways to capture its bold, atomic font and iconic presence. Each time I painted it, the sign revealed something different—a new angle, a fresh composition, or a deeper sense of nostalgia for Las Vegas' golden age. The 'HOT' letters from the Boulevard Motel added a touch of flair and excitement to the scene, while the 'N' from the Desert Inn, leaning in from the left, lent a balance between elegance and grandeur. The Stardust's brilliance seemed to pull all these elements together, creating a perfect harmony between the signs, fonts, and the storied history of the Strip. No matter how many times I painted it, the Stardust sign always seemed to have more stories to tell.
