This composition combines the iconic Horseshoe and Golden Nugget signs, painted on a rich teal paper. The view was both challenging and comforting, as I navigated the details of the scene. I chose not to include the flock of pigeons that had made their nests in the "H's," though their gentle cooing created a wonderful symphony of companionship throughout the session. If I had it to do over again, I’d be sure to add a few pigeons—they were as much a part of the moment as the signs themselves.
